Recovering from a disaster of this magnitude is a complex, ongoing process, but by focusing on long-term needs, Good360 and our partners are helping Maui rebuild stronger and more resilient than before.

In the aftermath of a disaster, immediate needs like water and emergency supplies are critical, but as recovery progresses, those needs evolve. Emergency declarations remain in place for Cleveland, Creek, Dewey, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, Pawnee, Payne, Pottawatomie, Roger Mills, and Stephens counties. A Fire Management Assistance Declaration has been submitted to support relief efforts, and a fire weather warning remains active through 10 PM ET today.

The event represents just one facet of an ongoing initiative to provide relief and support to those affected by wildfires, ensuring communities have the resources they need to rebuild and recover.

As part of this initiative, Amazon and Good360 will distribute 20 pallets of essential goods—including towels, kitchenware, and household supplies—providing direct relief to hundreds of first responder families.

Alexandria, VA, February 4, 2025– As football fans gear up for the Super Bowl, Good360 and the National Football League (NFL) mark the 11th year of collaboration to ensure unsellable apparel from AFC and NFC Championship games and the Super Bowl finds a meaningful purpose. These items, which cannot be sold due to the outcome of the games, are responsibly distributed to nonprofit organizations globally, furthering Good360’s mission to create a sustainable and impactful future.

“At Good360, we believe in the power of partnerships to create lasting change,” said Cinira Baldi, CEO of Good360. “Whether it’s responsibly distributing apparel with the NFL, activating in areas impacted by natural disasters, or providing critical supplies to communities in need, our mission is to ensure that donated products serve a meaningful purpose. Together with corporate donors and nonprofit partners, we are driving sustainability, meeting urgent needs, and building resilience for a better future.”

    How It Works

Good360 receives unsellable NFL apparel such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and towels. These items are distributed to vetted nonprofit organizations in areas of need worldwide, including Ukraine, Mongolia, Georgia, Estonia, and Latvia.

Key aspects of the program include:

    • Responsible Distribution: Good360 carefully selects nonprofit partners to ensure that donations do not disrupt local economies and are directed to areas of greatest need.
    • Brand Protection: A rigorous vetting process ensures that donated items are never sold, maintaining brand integrity.
    • Global Impact: Thousands of items are distributed annually, providing much-needed clothing to underserved communities while reducing waste.

This collaboration with the NFL highlights Good360’s broader mission to address critical needs globally. From its disaster recovery efforts—such as providing over $9.9 million in supplies to communities affected by the California wildfires—to its partnerships with up to 100,000 nonprofit organizations, Good360 has made an indelible impact on the lives of millions over the last 41 years.

    A Commitment to Sustainability

Good360’s approach to product philanthropy ensures that surplus goods from corporate partners, like the NFL, serve a higher purpose. By partnering with the NFL to turn unsellable items into resources for communities in need, this collaboration demonstrates a commitment to sustainability, reducing waste, and fostering global resilience.

“Another Super Bowl marks another opportunity for the NFL to collaborate with Good360 to create real impact by donating goods to those in need,” said Anna Isaacson, SVP of Social Responsibility at the NFL. “By turning surplus into support, the NFL can reduce waste while maximizing social good.”

Good360’s mission is to close the need gap by partnering with socially responsible companies to source highly needed donated goods and distribute them through its diverse network of more than 100,000 vetted nonprofits. How You Can Help

    Southern California Wildfires

Wildfires are among the most devastating disasters—spreading rapidly, often without warning, and leaving little time to prepare. With no clear start or end date, the fires continue to rage, and the need for support grows. Here are some ways you can help.

    Last updated 2/6/2025

The Current Status in Southern California

The Southern California wildfires have devastated Los Angeles County, with over 57,024 acres burned, thousands displaced, and critical infrastructure severely impacted. Here’s an overview of the unfolding crisis:

    All wildfires have been contained.

    Casualties and Displacement:

  • At least 29 confirmed fatalities and over a dozen individuals are still missing.
  • Over 150,000 residents were under evacuation orders at the peak of the fires, many of whom remain displaced.
  • More than 17,000 structures destroyed, including homes, schools, and community centers.
  • 12,700 residents remain without power, and several areas face “Do Not Use” water advisories.
  • Federal resources, including 2,500 National Guard members and 500 active-duty military personnel, are on the ground assisting with search and rescue efforts, air operations, and logistical support.

We need large-scale donations to address the most critical needs of wildfire survivors. These items will be distributed to our nonprofit members on the front lines, ensuring they reach affected communities as quickly as possible.

    New Clothing and Footwear:

Weather-appropriate clothing for adults, children, and infants, including jackets and baby items.

    Bedding:

Warm blankets, pillows, and towels for displaced families.

    Personal Hygiene Products:

Essentials like soap, toothpaste, diapers, sanitary pads, and baby wipes.

    Shelf Stable Food & Water:

Non-perishable food, canned goods, bottled water, and infant formula.

    Storage:

Duffle bags, suitcases, storage bins, and folders for paperwork

    School Supplies:

backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and small toys for kids

    Cots & Infant Supplies:

Sleeping arrangements like cots, cribs, baby bottles, pacifiers, and baby-safe blankets are vital for families with young children.

    Electronics, Flashlights, and Batteries:

Necessary for providing emergency lighting and powering essential devices when off-grid.

    Plastic Tubs & Suitcases:

Storage solutions for clothes, supplies, and essentials, especially for families on the move or in temporary shelters.

    Cleaning Supplies:

Items like garbage bags, cleaning gloves, brooms, shovels, and other tools to help with debris removal and maintaining hygiene.

    Emergency Assistance for Affected Families

The Southern California wildfires have left tens of thousands without homes, resources, or access to basic necessities. If you or someone you know has been affected, these organizations are offering critical support on the ground:

  • After the Fire USA Immediate Resources: A comprehensive guide to emergency housing, financial support, and essential resources for wildfire survivors.
  • FEMA Disaster Assistance: Apply for federal aid, including temporary housing, medical assistance, and more.
  • California Wildfire Recovery Details: Updates on disaster declarations and how to access state and federal resources.

The growing charity, servicing communities in need with essential goods, claims the position for the second year in a row

Alexandria, VA – December 20, 2024 – Good360, the global leader in product philanthropy and purposeful giving, is proud to announce its recognition as the #2 charity on Forbes’ 2024  Top 100 Charities list. With a total revenue of $3.06 billion, Good360 stands shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most esteemed nonprofit organizations in the country, including Feeding America, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and United Way.

This marks the second consecutive year that Good360 has achieved this ranking, underscoring the organization’s unwavering commitment to addressing critical social needs and responding to disaster relief efforts across the United States and globally.

By bridging the gap between excess goods and urgent needs, Good360 empowers its network of corporate donors and nonprofit partners to deliver essential resources where and when they’re needed most.

“This recognition by Forbes is a testament to the tireless efforts of our employees, donors, and nonprofit partners who are united in the mission to close the need gap and open opportunity for all,” said Jonathon Cannon, Interim CEO at Good360. “As we look ahead to 2025, we remain steadfast in our dedication to creating meaningful impact, where the need is both urgent and growing.”

Good360 is actively collaborating with Forbes to develop a feature story that will spotlight its innovative disaster recovery efforts. From responding to wildfires and hurricanes to addressing the needs of communities affected by flooding, Good360 plays a pivotal role in delivering hope and resources to those facing adversity.

As the organization celebrates this milestone, Good360 extends its deepest gratitude to its partners and supporters. Together, they make it possible to create a world where surplus goods find purpose, and every person can thrive.
